For the
Republic of Ireland, Prospex uses
District Electoral Divisions
(DED) and
ward
boundaries
as a building block to create catchments and territories. These are the smallest unit for which census data is available. Your own database can also be DED coded so you can map your own customer data. Republic of Ireland small area population statistics (SAPS) census data offers the user the population knowledge of the area which can be compared with their own data. For example occupation, car ownership, sex, age ranges and tenure.

Because detailed postal geography is available for Northern Ireland, Prospex contains the boundaries of all postcode sectors and the locations of full postcodes. Any postcoded data can be analysed and mapped in Prospex. So a single Prospex system can analyse data for the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Britain. |
